Vibra Permanent Grate Magnet are designed for fitting in hoppers,Vertical Ducts, product intake points and at finished goods outlet points, to remove medium and fine iron contaminants from dry free-flowing products such as sugar, grain, tea, plastic granulate and powdered chemicals.
Contamination such as rust, stainless steel scrapings and wear from machinery are often too small to be detected by a Metal Detector, but are easily removed by Vibra Permanent Grate Magnet.
Permanent Grate Magnets are constructed from a numbers of polished stainless steel magnetic rods which are held in positionat pre-determined centres by a pair of rigid polished stainless steel plates. The rods emit powerful magnetic fields across the gaps between the rods and these reach into the product stream, attracting and securing iron contamination as it flows through. Once attracted, the contamination sticks to the surface of the rod and eventually finds sanctuary on the underside of the rod where it is safe from the wash-off effects of continuous product flow.
Vibra Grate Magnets are manufactured to the highest possible standards using food quality stainless steel which is welded and polished strength and long life to enable a consistent performance. They can be easily installed and cleaned and are highly cost effective.
Non-standard sizes are made to order including rectangles and semi-circles.
Diverters bars are used to direct product flow onto the magnet. They are are designed with stainless steel material and avaiable in various of deisgn and shapes.
